In regards to UV'ing in Blender, I am no pro as Blender has a really strange method for unwrapping, you have to project from views or you can do primitive unwraps. Then you are ready to paint/texture which can also be done in 3D - Coat through the 'Paint' room (4.5 has PBR now!) If so then the above workflow is perfect but if you aren't worried about realtime rendering for games then go crazy with your model, you won't really need to bake anything, you can make your base mesh in Blender and import that in to 3D - Coat for voxel sculpting and then retopologize after your sculpting in the 'Retopo' room and UV unwrap from there. I am assuming that you want your model game ready? Once you have done your UV mapping you are ready to bake. The usual workflow would be to import your low poly model into the 'Retopo' room in 3D - Coat and then UV map the low poly. Once you are done then you are ready to bake and guess what, you already have your low poly from Blender to bake your super details onto. Just sculpt in surface mode rather than voxel mode for your super details. DO NOT make big changes to the model, by that I mean don't make any changes to the topology of the model. Then bring it into 3D - Coat (don't worry about UV'ing at this point) and then sculpt your super details for your model. 3D - Coat is RAM heavy, more so than your other modelling applications.Ī simple workflow from Blender to 3D - Coat would be to model your base mesh, no details, just the base mesh. One thing to note though is if you are going to be sculpting super detailed models in 3D - Coat I would suggest at least a minimum of 16GB of RAM. Plus UV mapping in Zbrush is a pain, the usual workflow for that is to make 'Polygroups' and then use those to UV unwrap but it is horrible, if that is one thing Zbrush doesn't do well its UV mapping.ģD - Coat is fantastic for dealing with really big and I mean big models because it doesn't actually use polygons it uses voxels. Zbrush is made to deal with high polygon models so you won't really have much issues with performance until you start going into the millions of polygons, unless you have a super computer haha. Has anyone found a good way to go between 3D Coat and Blender?Īny advice from someone more experienced is appreciated. While i've tried in Zbrush a bit I am struggling there and I actually am more comfortable with 3D Coat. Now If I export and bring it into 3d coat or zbrush though I noticed I don't have that lag issue whatsoever when trying to work the same model I original made in blender via another program for uv mapping. If I drop the subdivision level down one then it's fine but it doesnt look as good which is bad because I need the next level up to keep it looking really nice. I'm 100% sure it's got good topology currently but keeping the details in it at higher levels while trying to create a uv map for it in blender are very laggy. What I really hate about blender though is that the UVmapping is so immensely tedious on more complex models.įor instance I've currently built a Robodog Model and I need to create a custom uv for it as well as other maps to keep it flowing nicely for rig, pose, and eventually animations. I would say to buy Zbrush only if you target super detailled characters making or super detailled 3D assets.I'm mainly currently a blender artist though I've dabbled between Blender, 3DCoat, and Zbrush. Where is radial symmetry ? super needed Auto retopolgy, instable lot of times, crashes, not good results for in game low poly Can crash easy when increasing models resolution, because voxels uses too much memory + All in One tool : sculpt, retopo, paint, export + The best tool for retopology and fast retopology (quads tool, lines. + Complete painting tool : ability to paint diffuse/normal/specular maps retopology tools are far from 3D Coat (even last retopo features makes too much polys sometimes for in game) + All tools and brushes and sculpting options you could ever need (Dynamesh, clip tools, insert mesh, subtools,Zspheres etc. + Low memory needed : I could have super resolution character in Zbrush with it taking only some 500Mo from system. Increasing resolution and you keep super speed sculpting + ultra fast sculpting because it don't relies on Voxels. Indeed Zbrush dominates and far away, it is the best for super detailled characters and it has so much tools and options (zplugins also).Īs i own and used a lot these tools i will list the strong points only : Cos at the moment it seems zBrush is dominating the 3D sculpting arena This is an amazing donghua (chinese anime) I liked the animation, character designes. Especially if you like a more funny, easy but action filled show based around a world with assassins. If there is a season two then I am sure there will be even more action to come, which I hope for! I do not regret watching this. Try at least 3 or 4 episodes before knocking down the final hammer on if it is worth it or not. If you are one that is wondering if you should watch it or not, go for it. The music and small sound effects helps so much with the experience of it all. I have also gotten the impression that the team that has made this animation is not any big producers, which makes this work even more amazing in my opinion. You can see that this is not the average type of animation style that is similar to most other animes, or to have that CGI that most people don't like.I find the animation style to make the fighting scenes very interesting and fun to watch. Let's talk about the animation, since that is often what decides if people are going to continue to watch it or not.Honestly, I find it refreshing and artistic. The characters are also very simple, but the whole thing is so well thought out that the characters and plot brings the best out from each other. I have several times found myself after an episode just thinking about certain stuff, about how we treat each other, our family etc. It can tell the story of something extremely sad, and turn the whole thing around. Killer Seven is a short chinese animation that has a very simple plot. Let me tell you why.(Btw, I have no idea how to rate this because aahh I just find it difficult on this one so I am just not going to try) But Cike Wuliuqi (Killer Seven) is something for itself. It's not often I watch it, but when I do, I often find myself to drop it after 5 minutes. The first cycle is a tutorial, allowing you to become accustomed with the games very slick and responsive 3rd person shooting. No gun, no abilities to speak of except for a dash, jump and unlimited sprint. Initially after crashing on the planet of Atropos you have nothing. It may not seem that way at first but it really will. However the game will get easier the more you play it. I fully understand why people would give this game a low score. I'll try my best to be fair and keep those people in mind because like it or not, their views are just as valid. The people who after 12 hours can't get past the first biome. My experience with the game is going to be worlds apart from those people scoring it 1 star. However I'm aware that it's a subjective opinion. I say that because for me it's a solid 5 out of 5. It started, that ground became fertile, in April, in May, when Trump indicated that, “You know, if I don’t win this election this November, it’s because of fraud.” I mean, he was-this was- You go back and you listen to what the President was saying at his rallies, what he was saying in his engagement with reporters around this issue of the election, Trump had made it very clear. Steele: I would take you one better, Nicolle. It started-they started laying the ground to do this, it would appear, in August. So I think it’s remarkable that Trump’s attention was turned toward the liars and not the truth-tellers in his own ranks. There was no interference it was, quote, “the most secure election in American history.” We know that Chris Krebs, lifelong Republican, was fired for declaring that what Waldron alleged back in “August, September and October” didn’t happen. We know that the only person who called who called on his voters to commit voter fraud was Donald Trump, in North Carolina: he told them to vote twice. (Not illegal-unethical.) Couldn’t find any, before, during, or after the election. Wallace: So the problem with the Waldron-Gohmert-Trump axis of-I don’t know what to call it-disinformation, is that we know it’s BS because Bill Barr, who acknowledged being willing to investigate voter fraud before the election. I wish I could so as to supplement this recounting of the storyline.) However, in the meantime, I had managed to transcribe the interaction between Steele and Wallace. (I just now tried to track down an official MSNBC clip and I still am unable to find one. I had found a clip of the show, but it was not directly from MSNBC and soon the YouTube video had its privacy settings changed so as to no longer support public view. Steele directed her all the way back to-not August, as she had conjectured-but April, when Trump had apparently seen internal polling data showing American sentiment regarding Covid souring rapidly. Wallace asked Steele when Trump may have come up with the idea for planting doubt about the results of the election. I’ll quote from the previous diary, as much of it was transcription. It was Steele that brought in this other end of the thread and tied these two ideas together. Keep in mind that Nicolle Wallace was originally speaking, at the top of her hour, about Phil Waldron and the White House effort to seize voting machines. I felt that Steele had broken news, which was that Trump had twisted his Covid response into an election wedge issue, and that he did this intentionally. The date of the interview was February 2nd, and it so struck me that I wrote a diary that very day. |
